Supporting school communities.

Bridge the Gap NYC is a non-profit that partners with eligible K–5 elementary schools across NYC District 3 to help raise and distribute funding for enrichment opportunities, educational resources, and community priorities.

We believe every school community should have access to the resources and opportunities that help students thrive. We also know that every school does not have the same fundraising capacity.

We work directly with eligible school and parent leaders to better understand each school's priorities. From there, we provide funding for the ideas through our grant process.

Our Commitment

Practical. Transparent. Community-driven.

Listen first
We start by learning from the people who know each school best.

Simple grant process
We work alongside schools to make applying for funding clear, approachable, and manageable.

Responsible stewardship
We are committed to using every dollar thoughtfully and ensuring funding reaches the communities it is intended to support.

Clear reporting
We believe donors, schools, and communities should understand where funding goes and the impact it helps create.
